What is collected, and what is not.

No tracking pixels. No third-party advertising. No resale of any reader data. The Bureau's revenue is reader-funded directly, which removes the incentive that produces most privacy issues elsewhere.

I.

What is collected.

The Bureau collects only what is necessary to serve the site and respond to your communications:

  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp) retained briefly for security and analytics.
  • Email address if you subscribe to the Bureau newsletter or join the Structural Income Desk™.
  • Payment information processed by the payment provider; the Bureau does not store card details.
IV.

Email & newsletter.

If you subscribe, your email is used only to deliver Bureau dispatches. The list is not shared, sold, or rented. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter, and on unsubscribe the address is removed within 30 days.

V.

Payment processing.

Membership and product payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the external merchant-of-record payment provider. The Bureau receives only the information necessary to fulfill the order: your name, email, and the membership tier or product purchased. Card and bank details are handled exclusively by Lemon Squeezy.

For purchases, we may receive limited order information from Lemon Squeezy, including the product purchased, order ID, customer name, email address, country, and a masked payment summary needed for support. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers.

VI.

Analytics & logs.

The Bureau may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible or self-hosted equivalents) that do not set tracking cookies or collect personal data. Server logs are retained briefly for security and aggregate analysis; identifying information is not extracted.

Plain language, read once.

Privacy is not a footer link at the Bureau — it is structural. Reader-funded by design, which means the Bureau has no advertising incentive to surveil. This is not a prediction — structural assessment.
